This is a Genuine Ostrich Egg from South Africa and is not endangered. It has been cleared for legal entry into the U.S. by Customs Dept. This beautiful egg has a single Lion on one side as shown and a family on the opposite sides. The background is hand painted with blue, green and reddish orange colors. The finish is Smooth & High Gloss, resembling glass. This is created by the application of 50 coats of lacquer and sanding between coats. The egg also comes with a stand. This stand is made from marble resin and finished in a Gold color. The egg on the stand is about 9? to 12? high. Ask about other animal designs and colors.
